Royal Bidjar are master pieces of superb built rugs woven in the town of Senneh. Bidjar are often referred to as the Iron Rug of Persia because of their strength and durability.

The knotting on the Bidjar Rugs are normally between 100 to 220 Turkish knots per square inch. The Bidjar Weavers use a special tool to beat the weft strands together until they form an exceptionally compact foundation for the pile, this make the rugs or runner extremely dense and heavy.
